Members Evening - perfect opportunity to bring along a few fish to question
us all about. Thursday 20th May 2004
Brian Walsh speaking on a topic of great interest to myself - catfish. This
man is often spoken highly of in our club and is renowned for taking a rod
and line along to catch catfish whilst on his worldwide fish collecting
excursions. Thursday 17th June 2004Arthur Frisby, with Do water, rocks and fish mix - learn more (I must admit even the title of this talk has me intrigued). Please bring 1/2 a Jar your own aquaria water as this is an interactive program with Yorkshire's Mr Water.

This event is always a fun day out for fish enthusiasts with the
opportunity to see fish of a high standard as well as fish that are not
very often seen in fish shops etc. Add to this the auction (bring
along any equipment, fish, plants etc that you wish to sell) and the
chance of picking up a prize at the raffle and you have all the
ingredients for a informative and interesting day out. Now all that
is needed is YOU - it would be a fairly boring day out if we didn't have
lots of other people to talk "fishy talk". Thursday 15th July 2004

Another members evening and the final chance this year to have an in depth
discussion of any problems or successes in your aquaria. Thursday 16th September 2004
Don Kenwood gives us his talk on livebearers, postponed from January.
Don is a fanatical fish keeper who has dedicated his entire fish house to
keeping and breeding live-bearing fish, many of which he has collected
himself. Thursday 21st October 2004

The club's Annual General Meeting - I believe this year has the positions of
Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer and Publicity Officer due for renewal.
Could you fill one of these positions? Even if not please come along
to this meeting to help decide the direction of the club for the next year. Thursday 16th December 2004
American Supper Evening. This meeting is traditionally attended by many members and
their partners and is an informal chat among ourselves whilst munching away
at whatever has been brought along. Bring yourself, a partner if you
wish and enough food to feed yourself. This food will be added to the
table and everyone helps themselves to anything and everything...... a fun
evening to round of the year.
